This garden is very long and narrow and is adjacent to a noisy, busy highway, requiring innovative solutions. A fountain and stream were added to muffle the sound of the traffic. The angular seat wall creates intimate seating areas, and the stream side plantings lend credence to the ecosystem. A long narrow alley space now beckons the visitor to an area which is intimate, interesting and inviting.
